It all began with the love of illustrated children's books by a daughter that soon ensnared her father as well. After reading countless children's illustrated books and marvelling at the rich imagination contained in them, Abhishek (the father in this story) wondered how best could he bottle this amazing time with his daughter (Aashvi).

 

What resulted was an illustrated children's book, The Tale of Joad, that introduces us to Joad, a curious toad, who loves to do build things, experiment and daydream rather than doing toady things.

The World of Joad is an extension of the journey that began with "The Tale of Joad" and aims to inculcate creativity, learning and a sense of self-belief in every child that meets Joad and her friends.
